Lecture II / Body Installation
Body Installation means that they use the body of others as a sculpture, put it on the stage, and make a scene. We had a short lecture of it.
ボディーインスタレーションというのは、体を彫刻のように使って舞台に置き、ある場面を作っていくもののこと。先々週になりますが、ちょっとだけ授業がありました。
Everyone took a role of “Artist”, and he choise the person. Theme is free, and after he made it, others gave it a name.
みんな一回ずつ「芸術家」となり、使う人を選んでいく。テーマは自由で、出来あがった後に、残った面々でそれに合う名前を決めていきました。
At the end we did also moving sculptures. It’s like a body installation, but it moves. After the artist set the scene, he gives them a move. Then the sculpture goes on. Without end.
最後には、動く彫刻をやっていきました。基本的には一緒なんですが、動きます。場面作りが終わったあと、そこに動きを与える。動きといっても複雑なことはできず、ひたすら同じ動作を繰り返していく様は、なんだかシュールでもありました（笑）。
