Toga Arts Festival / 利賀フェスティバル
There was an international performance arts festival which has continued more than 20 years in a small village “Toga” in Toyama. The village Toga stands deep in the mountains in the south west from Toyama-city and it takes 30 minutes by train and 1 more hour by bus. I’d like to say something more: There are only 2 bus services a day.
利賀フェスティバルという20年以上続いている国際演劇祭が、富山県の利賀村（南砺市／なんとし）で開かれていました。利賀村というのは富山市の南西の山奥にありまして、列車で30分、更に乗り換えてバスで１時間ほどかかります。付け加えておくと、バスの運行は１日２本です。
What I have done is an “Inter-Seminar”. Many students and professors from 10 universities came there, and some of them did a workshop (lecture) of art & culture management, some of them helped the job of the festival, and others perticipated in a workshop of performing arts, and all of them watched many performances (theater) together. I was by the art & culture management class.
Otherwise, I’m no more student of university, but it’s no problem. I was there as OB, and I was there also 3 years ago. As I had great interest, it was OK.
私が参加してきたのは「インターゼミ」。全部で10の大学から学生と教員が集まり、一部は芸術文化マネジメントの勉強会、一部はフェスティバルの仕事の手伝い、一部は演劇ワークショップに参加しながら、みんなで芝居を見る、というものでした。ちなみに私がいたのは、芸術文化マネジメントの勉強会でした。
ところで私はもう大学の学生ではないんですが、まぁそんなの大丈夫です。ＯＢとしての参加であったし、３年前にも参加してましたし。とても興味を持っていたから、それでいいのです。
It was really a good chance that I could watch many performances only in a few days, that I could hear lectures of professors from many universities even I’m no more in the university, and that I could meet and talk with many students and professors. It might not be so, if I lived normally in the university and graduated normally 🙂
いやぁ今回は短期間に数々の芝居を見られ、色んな大学の教授から講義を聴け（大学生ではないのに）、そして沢山の学生や教授と知り合え話ができたという、ほんとに良い機会でした。これ、普通に大学生活を送って普通に卒業してたら、無かったかもしれませんね（笑）
