荒浜のめぐみキッチン新Webサイト | Arahamano-Megumi Kitchen Website Renewal
運営メンバーとして参加している「荒浜のめぐみキッチン」のWebサイトを刷新しました。Webサイト制作の仕事は基本受けてないんですが、「自分たちでやってること」特例です。笑
I rebuild the website of “Arahamano-Megumi Kitchen (Arahama’s Blessings Kitchen” – a project which I participate in as a staff. Normally I don’t make websites for business, so this is an exception. 🙂
これまでは「とにかく早く用意する」「維持費ナシでやれるようにする」ことの優先度が高かったのでTumblrで運用してましたが、おかげ様で活動が広がり、また僅かですが運営費が稼げるようにもなったので、ドメインも（「荒浜のめぐみキッチン」を！）取得し、WordPressで再構築しました。
The website before was on Tumblr, because it can be ready in very short time, and costs nothing for running. But somehow we could earn a little money now, we’ve got a good domain name (same as our project name!), and I’ve rebuild it in WordPress from scratch.
前サイトを作ったあと、活動を続けてくる中で「イベントの申し込み受付や問い合わせ対応が大変」「終了したイベントの告知を分かりやすくしたい」など、いくつか簡略化・自動化したいことが見えてきたので、そこら辺の機能を盛り込むことを中心に組み立てていました。スクラップ＆ビルドならぬ、ビルド＆スクラップ、作ってみては「なんか違うなー」と削除し、試行錯誤の末にようやくの公開となりました。
After I build the past website, some problems were figured out, for example, “It’s stressful to check and reply for many qestions or applications for the event”, “It’s nice if the announce of the event is checked if it ended”, etc. After many trials, the new web is out, at last.
さすがにまだテーマファイルを自分で作るには程遠いですが、機能やプラグインの選択、多少のPHPプログラムのカスタマイズなどは少しずつできるようになってきました。
それにしてもやはり、こういうWebサイトを作るときっていうのは、何よりも情報の分類や機能の洗い出し、そして細々したところのチェックが大変ですね。
I cannot make a theme file by myself, but it’s interesting to learn the functions of programs, such as plugins and php.
It’s really a hard work to select and categorize the informations, to list the necessary functions, check details and do fine tuning.
